My Kodak Easyshare Sport C123 camera

The Kodak EasyShare Sport C123 is not really expected to amaze performance-wise. It’s a low-budget, rough-and-tumble point-and-shoot, with underwater capability as its main highlight and selling point. This hunk of camera is designed to take a trip down the river and like it.
When I bought mine, the first thing that came to my mind is the oddity of the case. But when I had the chance to see it closer, I started to love it because it has very unique and bright casing.
The Kodak EasyShare Sport does’nt offer much other than its ability to take a beating, but satisfactory performance makes it a viable option for the clumsy or outdoorsy that needs a budget camera.
Kodak perfectly outlines the role that the C123 is destined to play in advertisements on the camera’s product page: a mud-splattered EasyShare Sport is dipped into the water, with the “waterproof 3.0 meters” emblazoned around its lens clearly shining through the grime.

The Pentax Optio RS 1500

The new Pentax Optio RS1500 (which replaces the RS1000) is the latest addition to the Pentax compact point-and-shoot catalog. It’s an easily pocket able ultra-compact digicam available in either pearl white or silver.
The RS1500 is actually rather plain and somewhat underwhelming in its naked state, but add one of the included skins, and the camera magically assumes an alternate identity – like Clark Kent ducking into a phone booth to emerge moments later as Superman.
Among the latest digital camera, this brand is one of the best picks of the people who really love to start doing camera shooting.
Despite the limitations of a small lens and sensor, Pentax Optio digicams like the RS1500 often have the potential to hold their own against entry-level DSLRs and certainly take the prize for portability. Does the master-of-disguises RS1500 deliver solid picture-taking power with that shape-shifting façade? Read on and find out.

It is all about the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH7 Review

When the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH7 arrived at my doorstep I was genuinely impressed with the camera’s tiny footprint. The FH7 is a slightly updated version of the Lumix FH5, the only major difference being a marginally larger LCD screen that now includes a touch screen overlay, allowing the LCD to be used as an input device. Though it is actually a tiny bit larger than its predecessor, the FH7 is still a super thin, easily point-and-shoot.
The FH7 is an outstanding general purpose P&S digicam – especially useful for shooting informal portraits, capturing family gatherings, documenting trips and recording special events.
The auto-only shooter will have no trouble with the Lumix FH7. For less than $200 it offers great image capability, a nice 4x zoom lens and decent HD video capture. The following are its good features as well its minimal negative sides:
Pros
·         Excellent image quality
·         Great noise management

* Easily pocketable

Cons

* Tricky menu system
* No real user’s manual
* No zoom during video capture

The Nokia Lumia 800

The Nokia Lumia 800 looks familiar–its design is based on the Nokia N9, which runs the MeeGo operating system. It has a slightly smaller display than the N9, at 3.7 inches as opposed to 3.9 inches. The smaller display size is to accommodate the three Windows Phone buttons (Back, Home, Search) found on every phone. The curved AMOLED display has bold colors and deep, dark blacks. The display uses “ClearBlack” technology, which increases its visibility in bright sunlight.
It is really great to possess such kind of gadget since we are now moving in the real world of greatest creation. It is no doubt that this will make another big impact in the world market since people would love to upgrade their gadget to more advanced technology.
The Lumia 800 is powered by a Qualcomm S2 single-core 1.4GHz processor. Spec-wise, this puts the Lumia at a disadvantage to its competition, such as the Nexus Galaxy and the iPhone 4S, which both have dual-core chips. In my hands-on use of the browser and various apps, the Lumia 800 felt snappy and smooth.

What are the Point and Shoot Digital Cameras?

People who love to travel would also love to take pictures for keepsake. This is a worldwide tradition. Taking pictures form great angles and sights of the environment is useless if you do not bring with you the best camera.
It is never easy to see that what we bring sometimes is out-of-the-mode. In clearer words, we bring gadgets which are already out of the trends. Cameras are not excused.
Point and shoot cameras are easily the most popular and widely used since they provide the ability to take often high-quality and high-resolution digital photographs without having to worry about shutter speeds, aperture settings or focusing. Quite simply, you just point the camera at a subject and it captures whatever the photographer sees on the viewing screen.
Most of the point and shoot cameras on the market today feature automatic settings to accommodate most average lighting situations, and a number are equipped with stabilization technology that reduce the shake and jitter associated with handling smaller cameras – especially those that offer limited zoom capabilities.

My Cannon Pixma MX870 Review

If you take the minimalist design of the Canon Pixma MX330, add the functionality of the Pixma MX7600, and throw in built-in Wi-Fi, you’ll end up with the Canon Pixma MX870. It offers wireless networking while still maintaining all the features you. Large 2.5-inch LCD; built-in memory card reader; stylish design; robust software suite; fast output. However, there was a not-so-good review about the said printer. The next paragraph tells about it.
A friend of mine had a Canon MX850 for a few years and liked it very much. Somehow it jammed a program and broke so he was forced to buy this model MX870. The directions were not thorough and we had to call support several times for various system functions. This printer is really SLOW and it uses twice as much ink as his last printer… not sure how that is but he is replacing a black ink cartridge every few weeks and color cartridges about 6 to 8 weeks out. The amount of printing has stayed the same however the cartridges just do not last as long. He would not recommend this product… in fact he does not think he will be purchasing from Canon again.

The Nokia Lumia 710

Nokia is calling the Lumia 710 a “no nonsense” phone, meaning that the 710 is a simpler, less expensive version of the 800. The 710 has the same processor as the 800, but a TFT display rather than an AMOLED display and a 5-megapixel camera rather than an 8-megapixel camera.
Aside form the Lumia 800, another product of Nokia has been established greatly. It is fearless forecast of those who critics modern gadgets that this will leave another set of positive reviews form many sites and even in blog sites.
Like the Lumia, the 710 comes in a variety of fun colors. You can pick from either a black or a white phone and then swap between a black, white, cyan, fuchsia or yellow backing. The 710 has a slightly different look than the 800. It is plastickier and has squared off corners.
Despite the less powerful specs, the 710 was just as speedy as its older sibling. Even the 5-megapixel camera, without the Carl Zeiss lens, took pretty good pictures.
